was a grand function in Madurai last week. More than one lakh Vijay
fans participated in the event. Vijay received a red carpet welcome in
Madurai and announced various welfare schemes for the underprivileged on
the occasion. Music composed by Vijay Anthony was released under the
Sony Music label.
Now the latest buzz is that the sales of Velayudham album has created a new record. Sony Music has sold all the CDs of the film on the first day of its launch. Additionally, Sony Music had launched an online pre booking offer which has also witnessed a tremendous response. The company is also planning to leverage its digital delivery infrastructure to ensure that all music lovers can access the Velayudham songs legitimately.
